Tough news....
I was recently experiencing some pain in my right ankle. As usual cyclists or athletes, they just run, bike or swim thru the pain. I now have been dealt with a recent discovery, Stress Fracture of my right calcanius (heel bone). So no running for 5-6 weeks. However, I now have turned all of my run into powercrank days and sessions.
Results in two weeks, I am feeling a great deal stronger in my pedal stroke on my powercranks and in race position. My power on the bike alone has taken a 10 watt increase in just two weeks. The cool thing is I feel I will be just as strong when going back to running. Thanks to powercranks this is going to be an easy transition back to running.
