making progress
By greg mcglinn | Published  01/8/2007

Since I received my Power cranks in mid December I have been riding on only them and have 16 rides under my belt .On new years day I had a breakthrough ride It was the first time since I had ridden the Power cranks that I was able to maintain a cadence over 90 for more than and hour ,I rode for 3 hours and had and avg cad of 93 .The Power cranks are making me ride in a way I have never done before I would consider myself a power rider and have always pushed big gears at a lower cadence .When I first started riding these my heart rate would elevate realy fast and I would have to back down within the first few minutes of my ride but I am making good progress on them now and am able to maintain cadences of around 100 for extended periods of time still with a much higher heart rate than I am used to riding at.I am excited about how I will ride on my regular bike in a couple months time .
