Happy New Year
By Peter Bech | Published  12/29/2007

The year is coming to an end. It´s time to take a brief stop and spend a few thoughts on the past 365 days. ´07 was the year when I got introduced to Power Cranking. It´s not that it revolutionized my life, but it has certainly changed my perspective on how to turn pedals around. Like I wrote in an earlier blog, my training has been compromised by a knee injury effecting both cycling and running. Because of that I haven´t been able to put all my energy into my new training tool. Things are starting to brighten up, though. My rehabilitation is going as planned, and in the new year I should be back at a normal level.

The small amount of bike training I have been doing, has all been on PC´s. I wanted to see how things were at the moment and did a Conconi-test a week ago. To my surprise I did a very reasonable test which was better than the one I did in the spring. My form at that point was actually pretty good so I have only the power cranks to explain my present state of condition.

Until now I have only been riding on my rollers, but in the new year I´m going to do a lot more on the road.
Until then I just want to wish all of you a happy new year and lots of good training in the year to come.
/Peter
