Improvements in running.
Like I wrote in my last blog, I´m still troubled with a running injury. (It was a stupid freak accident slamming my knee into a radiator) Fortunately it´s starting to get better. I´m able to complete 20 minute runs every other day. Today my knee had one of it´s good days, as I could run pretty relaxed. During the run I started to feel the effect of 2 weeks with Powercranks. My strides felt very easy and I´m pretty sure that it is related to some kind of improvement in my hip flexors. I´m looking forward to do a test on the track once my injury is gone.
Regarding my cycling, I´m still setting new personal records. On the rollers I did a session of 45 minutes (20 min+15 min + 10 min) with high power output and a cadence of 85-88 rpms. I haven´t really done any riding outside yet, but this weekend I´m going to do a longer ride on the road.
Not as long as one of the guys blogging on this site, though. The maniac is doing 4 hr rides in only his 3rd week! (besides doing freaky stuff like that he also happens to be my brother)
