2nd time round on the Powercranks.

Yesterday was a good day.  I rode the Powercranks for the 2nd time on my cyclo-cross bike. It was bitter cold with the wind factor but I bundled up in about 3 different layers –head to toe.  I managed 1hour of ‘cruising’ and then the legs started to die away.  The first hour was great though – I was able to keep the cadence a bit higher at times – with some lofty rest of course in between bouts.  Where my car was parked after the hour, I still had another 20minutes of riding.  Once there, after a bit of a stretch,  I took my dog, Hobbes thereafter for a bit of a run on the trail (me on the bike).  I did this ride after an indoor session (on the bike) and lunch  - so maybe the fatigue was really settling in.  I attempted to stand up and literally fell flat back down on the seat.  I am not sure how to do this…I have been lucky enough – or lazy enough (or maybe smart enough) to not attempt climbing my hill home as of yet.  This is on the agenda this week!
