first PC ride
By Marco Pinotti | Published  11/16/2007
After I received my Powercranks I looke forward to try riding my bike. It was easiest than expected to put them into my bike.
I was so excited that I decided to go out immediately on the road. The first impression is that pedalling have never been so difficult, but after some minutes the legs were finding their own pace. It all lasted only 20 minutes, after that I was almost done and decided to go back home. My leg flexor were almost cramping!
I've learned 3 things from my first PC ride:
1)it's better to get used on a hometrainer next time, above all because where I live the roads are busy.
2) forget, at least at the beginning, to ride at the cadence I used to. This is good as I and my trainer want to use PC for strenght work-outs. I still have to found out the right cadence, but should be something between 60 and 80
3) it's a simple but great training tools and of course my pedal efficacy will improve a lot
