week 2..a track racers view

In dealing with a serious injury and the muscle imbalances from months of  racing through it, the Powercranks are helping bring back strength balance to the hamstrings.  The  choice to give up on higher cadences on the PCs  for now seems to be paying off as well.   After warming up, I feel  that I am starting to pedal more normal. What I mean by that is that at first,I had to really concentrate on pulling up. Now I am starting to use more downforce from 1-6:00~ and  seem to be making some power. In November , I will put the powertap on my PC bike and see what the numbers look like compared to last year.....BTW ,Iam finishing my rides with 3-4 high cadence sprints to ensure that I dont get too slow with this SE type training.
