Today I rode a set of Power Cranks for the first time since my pre-season training in December. I had anticipated that I would have lost some of my pedal stroke, but was happy to find that I felt quite at home on them! I immediately noticed a slight dead spot in the stroke of my left leg, but after about ten minutes it was gone. I did a few short five minute efforts during my 3 hour ride and felt fine, even out of the saddle. I didn’t want to overdo it my first time back after so long. I did feel slightly fatigued in my hip flexors towards the end of the ride, but that was to be expected. I think I could’ve done 4 hours fairly comfortably.

Best regards,

Darren
